Join us for our Dinner meeting on Tuesday, December 17th, 2019 at the Italian American Community Center. Registration starts at 5:30 PM,

December meeting is the History & Past Presidents Night. We would like to invite ASHRAE NE past presidents to attend the meeting at no cost. When you register online select " PAY AT Door" option for payment.

Happy Hour: 5:45 pm to 6:45

Dinner and the presentation: 6:45 PM.

This month’s presentation will be on the topic of Dry & Adiabatic Fluid Coolers” as presented by Mihir Kalyani.

Mihir Kalyani Bio: 

Mihir Kalyani is the Product Manager for EVAPCO's Dry & Adiabatic Fluid Coolers and has been at EVAPCO since 2014.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in College Park.  He grew up in India and came to the United States in 2009 to go to college. 

Mihir's primary responsibilities at EVAPCO include growing sales, stimulating future product development efforts and assisting EVAPCO's representatives to educate end-users about the product's capabilities and applications.  He is experienced in assisting end-users with complex water and energy analyses to optimize their project's efficiencies.

Mihir's first four years at EVAPCO were spent as an application engineer working on various projects involving cooling towers, closed-circuit coolers, and water systems. 

Mihir speaks 4 languages and is a trained machinist. He lives in Ellicott City, Maryland with his wife Paige.

"This presentation will provide an overview of the operation, product types, certifications, industry trends and applications for dry and adiabatic coolers in the US market."

  • Understand how to size and apply dry and adiabatic coolers.
  • Understand the saturation efficiency of adiabatic media and be able to differentiate between claimed vs. actual efficiency, and how this affects unit sizing.
  • Learn about current product types on the market
  • Gain insight into certification and industry trends

Non-Member: $40

PDH: +$5

Without prior registration: +$5

Please remember to register for the December meeting online through our website. We encourage everyone to register on or before Friday, December 13th, 2019. We are welcoming everyone who shows up for the meeting without prior registration but an additional $5 will be added to the regular attendance fees.
