The April 2019 meeting is the Chapter Life Member Event.  All Life Members are invited to attend and share their experiences.

A BLAST FROM THE PAST:  The year was 1960 and the Northeastern New York Chapter of ASHRAE held the February meeting at Ford's Tavern at 1118 Central Ave. in Albany, NY.  The speaker was Norman J. Dam, Manager Plant Engineering from the General Electric Research Laboratory, Knolls, Schenectady, NY.  Mr. Dam discussed Plant Engineering and Research, Air Conditioning a Research Laboratory.

Chapter Officers for 1959 – 1960 were as follows:

President – M.E. Waddell, 1st Vice President – Lyford Brown, 2nd Vice President – Bernard Mullen, Secretary – G.B. Gardner, Treasurer – E. E. Phillips, BOG – E.J. Mahoney, BOG – R. D. Marshall and Program Chair was Lyford Brown.


That is the way it was on February 16, 1960.  This was the first year as a Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
